About
We are a family of four traveling the United States full-time: Cy and Erika, plus our two kids — we call them Big (our son) and Little (our daughter). We use first names for the two of us; the kids stay Big and Little.
What we're doing
Visiting all 63 designated U.S. national parks (and as many state parks, national monuments, and small towns along the way as we can manage), while homeschooling Big and Little out of the truck.
Why this site exists
- To keep an honest, datestamped record of where we went and what happened.
- To make notes future families on the road can actually use.
- To show the kids that what they study is part of the country they're in.
What's here
- Destinations — one page per place. National parks, monuments, state parks, towns we stopped in.
- Posts — essays, journal entries from the road, lesson logs, and gear notes.
How to reach us
Through the site or the brand accounts linked in the footer, for now. A dedicated contact channel lands once we've settled into a rhythm.
